God wants to change your heat. He doesnt want you to walk around in
the same sin. God wants to set you free. In the gospel of John it
says in John 8:32 "Then you will know the truth and the truth will
set you free." It goes on to say in John 8:36 "The one SON sets free
is free indeed." You see when you know the truth the truth will work
you way into your heart and change you slowly. The truth is the word
of God. Which is the bible. The way to let the truth set you free is
by reading the bible everyday. Dont just let the bible sit there and
collect dust do something about it and read it. The word of God is
stronger than any 2 egeded sword. The word will pierce your heart.
But when we turn to Jesus, HE will do a might work on you that will
change you for life. You see God loves you to much to let you stay
in that sin. God wants to help you get ride of that sin. But God
wont do it all. You have to do your part. Lay all your cares on
Jesus and watch HIM do a mighty work. When you get down on your
knees and your at ur wites and have no where else to turn but to
Jesus and say "GOD Im at my wites end I give up." You have just
untied Gods hands and have allowed God to work in your life. Just
turn to Jesus and watch HIM do a mighty work in your life. God Bless

Which Jesus do you follow?

Which Jesus do you follow? To many times we as Christians follow the
world then we would rather follow Jesus. Jesus said said "Follow
Me." But to many times we follow a Jesus that is either made up or
in a pretty box or made up to be of our standards. Jesus never
wanted this. HE wanted us to follow the real Jesus. The one who eat
with sinners. The one who despised the proud and hung out with
the reject, the underdog, the unloved. But to many times we want to
follow a Jesus that we want to make up. We forget about the Jesus of
the bible. We need to go back to the bible and find the real Jesus.
Its like my nephew once said "If people knew who the real Jesus was
it would scare the pants off of them." I believe that. Too many times
we want a Jesus that fits our standers and will do things when we
snap our fingers. But Jesus doesn’t want us to believe like this. He
wants us to follow HIM with all our hearts, minds, and souls. Well
there a song out that is called My Jesus by Todd Agnew that sums up
what I’m trying to say here it is
Which Jesus do you follow?
Which Jesus do you serve?
If Ephesians says to imitate Christ
Then why do you look so much like the world?

He spent His time with thieves and liars
He loved the poor and accosted the arrogant
So which one do you want to be?

Blessed are the poor in spirit
Or do we pray to be blessed with the wealth of this land

Who is this that you follow

If Jesus was here would you walk right by on the other side or fall
down and worship at His holy feet

Pretty blue eyes and curly brown hair and a clear complexion
Is how you see Him as He dies for Your sins
But the Word says He was battered and scarred
Or did you miss that part
Sometimes I doubt we'd recognize Him

He spent His time with thieves and the least of these
He loved the poor and accosted the comfortable
So which one do you want to be?

Cause my Jesus would never be accepted in my church
The blood and dirt on His feet would stain the carpet
But He reaches for the hurting and despised the proud
I think He'd prefer Beale St. to the stained glass crowd
And I know that He can hear me if I cry out loud

Not a posterchild for American prosperity, but like my Jesus
You see I'm tired of living for success and popularity

this song was not meant to condemn anybody but to show the church that
it needs to follow the real Jesus.

A man full of grace

You see Jesus was a man full of Grace and Truth. The bible says in the Gospel of John 1:17 "For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." Jesus was a man of Grace and Love. Yes Jesus got mad at the religious leaders of HIS day many times but HE still loved them. That’s where grace came in. Jesus’ love goes deeper then the human mind will ever know. You see Jesus went so far as to eat with the tax collectors and outcasts of HIS day. The ones no one wanted to be around. HE hung out with them daily. If the religious leaders hated them Jesus loved them. As is the same today. If someone is hated today Jesus loves the one who is hated. The thing is Jesus does not hate the world but loves the world. It says in John 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world that HE gave HIS one and only Son, that whoever believes in HIM shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world, but save the world through HIM." That’s the thing we will never know how much God loves us as humans. We will never be able to reach the bottom of God's love. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 8:38-39"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither the present or the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." It also says in 1 John 4:19 "We love because HE first loved us."

That’s the thing we will never fully understand this thing called grace. We will also never fully understand God's unconditional agape love.

Only Jesus

How many actually serve Jesus and say there a Christian? So many
Christians worship other things and go to church on Sundays and
say "HEY I’m in with Jesus I’m a Christian I go to church." But just
to go to church is not enough. Anybody in this world can go to
church but not every one believes in Jesus. So many believe in God
but not Jesus. That is so sad. So many say "Well I’m a Christian I
don’t need to read my bible or become born again." But Jesus calls us
to higher standards. HE (Jesus) is calling out this day saying "I
want more from you. I want your heart mind and soul." You see we
need to give Jesus everything. We cant just go to church and say
that is enough because that will never be enough. Did you know that
church is to get us refueled for the week and the bible is top keep
us fueled the rest of the week? We as Christians need Christ. Look at
the word Christian, the first six letters spell Christ. Christian
means follower of Christ. We also need to pray and read our bibles
daily. Its not enough to read our bibles once a week or once a month
and say that you read it. We need to read our bibles much more than
that. We also cant just go to Jesus with our really big problems and
never thank Jesus for what HE has done for us. To many Christians
only go to Christ when there in a crisis. That will never work. Jesus
may and may not answer our prayers. Its the same with bible. If we
go to the bible half heartedly and never expecting to get anything
out of the bible the truth is we wont. You see despite all this
Jesus still loves us but we need to love Jesus back with all we
have. In the second part of Matthew 4:10 it says "Worship
the Lord your God, and serve Him only." You see we
must serve and worship only Jesus. So I have a question for you to
ponder Whom do you Serve?

Hope in a hurting World

So many people today are hurting. Many people hurt and do not know
why. So many times they hurt and do not know that relief comes
through Jesus. They will try so many other things in this world that
they don’t realize that what they need is Jesus. When we hurt, we hurt
real bad. I have felt this kind of hurt in my life. But I have
realized that when I am at the end of my rope I have only Jesus to
hang on to. But thanks to God I am doing much better. But why do so
many people, even Christians hurt? Its because they don’t usually turn
to Jesus in there times of need. When Jesus came to this earth HE
came to set people free from all kinds of hurt. John 8:32 says "Then
you will know the truth and the truth will make you free." My cousin
told me that when we are made free we are free forever. John 8:36
also says "the one the SON sets free is free indeed." If your
hurting today then turn to Jesus. As Third Day puts it "Cry out to
Jesus." You so many of us hurt and don’t even know it. But that’s why
Jesus came. When Jesus died on the cross HE took all our hurts,
pains, and sins with HIM to the cross and then to the grave. Jesus
is calling out to you today. HE wants to take all your hurts and
pains away. There is hope. When in doubt pray. When hurting pray.
When in pain pray. Remember to CRY OUT TO JESUS. When you have
nothing left and you realize that there is no one to turn to and you
have nothing to cling to then cling to Jesus and pray. There have
been many times I have hurt over my life time. But I have never
given up on Jesus. I remember one time I was hurting and crying and
I fell to the floor in my kitchen and all of a sudden I felt these
spiritual arms reach and just hold me and my head sank into the
chest of Jesus. It was amazing. Jesus is amazing. There three songs
I would like to share with you. One is called Cry Out to Jesus by
Third Day and the other is called Come to Jesus by Chris Rice and
the last is called Hold on to Jesus by O.C. Supertones.

God Accepts All

You see with all this stuff on judging and people thinking that God only hates its no wonder that people don’t go to church. But there have been many that have found that to be untrue. God loves all of us the same. No matter if your red or yellow black or white we are all His children. God wants to tell you that HE loves and doesn’t hate you. No matter where you are on life’s little journey (its little to Jesus) God will meet you. God wants to take care of you. You see no matter how violent you get God would never turn his back on you. Too many people think that with all this violence in the world God could never ever love them or ever be loved. That is not true. Jesus wants to whisper in your ear I LOVE YOU AND WELCOME HOME. That’s what the love of God is all about. There’s a story of a boy in the bible who left home. He left and wanted his fathers property mainly his money. So he took his share of the money and left. He must have thought he was dead. He ran out of money to feed himself. So he hired himself out for work to a man who took care of pigs. But the boy was so hungry that even the scraps that the pigs were eating started to look good to the boy. But the boy came to his senses one day and realized he was in the wrong and wondered why he was doing this. So he started home. When he was half way home he saw his father. His father saw him and started to run to him. But when the boy got to his father he said "Father I have sinned and against you and against heaven. I'm not worthy to be called your son." But the all the father could say was "Get me my best rob and put rings on his finger and shoe on his feet. And kill the fatted calf for my son was once dead but is now a live. Once lost but is found." You see God loves you that much to forgive and accept you right as you are. Just as that old praise and worship song says COME JUST AS YOU ARE AND SEE FEEL THE SPIRIT CALLING. COME AND SEE. COME AND TASTE CHRIST THE KING.
